Mahendra Niwas was set up in the year of 2014 at the citadel of Panchalingeswar hill Nilgiri.,Balasore,Odisha in the revolutionary memory of Mahendra Prasad Barik, born in a poor peasantry family in 1945 and passed away in 2013 by a road accident. His sudden demise in an uncompensatable loss in the Marxist movement of Nilgiri Peasant up heaval.

Panchalingeshwar Temple
Panchalingeshwar Temple is in Balasore district of Odisha. It named after the five Shivalinga that are enshrined inside. The temple is on top of a hillock near the Nilagiri hill (not to be confused with that of Western Ghats).
The Shivalingas are said to have been enshrined by Sita, the wife of Lord Rama during their exile. Another story holds that King Banasura worshiped the Swayambhu Lingas at this place given its beauty. A perennial stream, which is the main attraction of the area, regularly washes the Shivalingas as it flows over them. To reach to the temple one has to lie flat on the rock parallel to the stream to touch and worship the lingas inside the water stream.
Panchalingeswar is 27.7 km south west from Balasore. Geographical co-ordinate is 21.41 North 86.71 East.
Panchalingeswar comes under Balasore district. Balasore is also the nearest city from Panchalingeswar. The nearest NAC to Panchalingeshwar is Nilagiri. Regular bus services are there from Bhubaneswar to both Nilagiri and Balasore. A visitor can come to Balasore through Bhubaneswar Airport (200 km) or Kolkata Airport (250 km). There are regular transportation facilities between Panchalingeswar and Balasore.

Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary
Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Balasore district of Odisha, India. The sanctuary is spread across 272.75 km2 (105 sq mi) in the Chota Nagpur Plateau region. It is linked with Simlipal National Park via Sukhupada and Nato hill ranges. It is classified as an Eastern Highlands moist deciduous forests ecoregion.
Kuldiha is an integral part of northern Odisha tourism. It attracts tourists and scholars alike.
The sanctuary is almost equidistant from Bhubaneswar and Kolkata cities. It is easier to reach the place from Bhubaneswar, being the capital city of Odisha state. The nearest airport is Biju Patnaik International Airport. The nearest railway station is Balasore railway station. One can take NH16 (earlier designated NH5) and reach Nilagiri via State Highway 19. Thereafter scenic narrow road leads to the sanctuary entrance.

Chandipur Beach
Chandipur, also known as Chandipur-on-sea, is a small sea resort in Baleswar District, Odisha, India. The resort is on the Bay of Bengal and is approximately 16 kilometers from the Baleswar Railway Station. The beach is unique in that the water recedes up to 5 kilometers during the ebb tide. Due to its unique circumstances, the beach supports bio-diversity. Horseshoe crab is also found here on the beach towards Mirzapur, the nearby fishing market and community at the confluence of the Budhabalanga River(Balaramgadi). It is a suitable picnic spot. One of Odisha Tourism's Panthanivas (guest house) is situated here.
In summer the temperature is 25-40 degrees Celsius, but in winter it's 17-26 degree Celsius. Nov-Mar is the suitable time for travelling here.
Chandipur can be reached by travelling up to Balasore by rail or road and then thereafter catching a bus, auto or taxi. Road access to Balasore is via National Highway 16 (NH-16). Chandipur sea beach is 16 km from Balasore railway station. Also avail the local guide & trekker service to see the major 4 locations of Devkund Waterfalls, Panchalinegeswar, Khirachora Gopinath temple, Chandipur Beach, Emami Jagannath temple, & Nilgiri Jagannath temple.

Bhitarkanika National Park
Bhitarkanika National Park is a national park located in Kendrapara district of Odisha in eastern India. Core area of 145 square kilometre of the Bhitarkanika Wild Sanctuary, spread over 672 km2, has been designated as a National Park since 16th Sep 1998. Also a Ramsar Convention 19th Aug 2002.
The national park is surrounded by the Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary. Gahirmatha Beach and Marine Sanctuary lies to the east, and separates swamp region cover with canopy of mangroves from the Bay of Bengal. Thus it become a vicinity of rich biodiversity
The park is home to Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), White Crocodile, Indian python, King Cobra, black ibis, darters and many other species of flora and fauna.
The national park was created in September 1998 from the core area of the Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary, which was created in 1975. The sanctuary is the second largest mangrove ecosystem in India.
The national park and wildlife sanctuary is inundated by a number of rivers - Brahmani, Baitarni, Dhamra, Pathsala and others.
